Sono queste le parole del Salmo 98 che mi sono improvvisamente affiorate alla mente quando mi è stato comunicato che la Corte Costituzionale aveva dato il via al referendum sull’acqua. Dopo anni di impegno, un sussulto di gioia e di grazie al Signore che riesce ancora a operare meraviglie ,e un grazie allo straordinario “popolo dell’acqua” che ci ha regalato in due mesi un milione e mezzo di firme. La Corte ha approvato due dei tre quesiti referendari: il primo, che afferma che l’acqua è un bene di non rilevanza economica, e il terzo che toglie il profitto dall’acqua. Che la Corte Costituzionale( piuttosto conservatrice) abbia accolto queste due istanze sull’acqua in contrasto con i dogmi del sistema neo-liberista, è un piccolo miracolo. E questo grazie agli straordinari costituzionalisti che le hanno formulate e difese, da Rodotà a Ferrara, da Mattei a Lucarelli senza dimenticare Luciani.Ma la grande vincitrice è la cittadinanza attiva di questo paese che diventa il nuovo soggetto politico con cui anche i partiti dovranno reckoned with.
